A Mothers Light Workshop

A guided journey of reflection, creativity, and sacred light for mothers and children

A Mother’s Light is a soulful, pre-recorded workshop inviting mothers to slow down and reconnect with the wisdom of the autumn season. The first forty minutes offer a guided space for spiritual reflection, where mothers are led through mindfulness practices to cultivate inner light and presence. Together, we explore the deeper meaning behind the Lantern Walk tradition and reflect on the threefold importance of light — the light of St. Martin, Jesus as a light to the world, and our light within.

Following this reflection, the workshop gently transitions into hands-on creation, guiding you through the art of crafting your own handmade watercolor lantern. Using watercolor, folding, and glue techniques, you’ll learn how to bring light into the darker months while nurturing creativity, rhythm, and connection with your children.

Through this workshop, you’ll receive:

  • A full video recording, including mindfulness reflections and a complete lantern-making demonstration

  • A printable e-book with step-by-step instructions, seasonal reflections, and journaling prompts

  • Access to songs & storytelling inspiration using simple ways to create your own lantern walk as a family or in your community.

A Mother’s Light is both a craft and a contemplative practice — an invitation to remember that our light, once kindled, needs to be nurtured and shared with our community.
