Eva Maria Smith recently came to photograph me during my bonnet sewing. She is going to post about a few creative and inspiring makers on her blog and I am excited she came and asked me for this series. She writes a beautiful blog about simplicity, travel, and other musings in House of Smilla.
My sewing mostly happens while the children are out of the house or in the evening when they are sleeping. Sometimes we get things done together for my work.
We often sew clothes for the children. I want them to see how simple it is to create clothing from quality organic cotton or linen fabric.
While the pictures were taken my little one came to help me out on a bonnet. Her favorites are helping with the pins, pressing the button to sew backwards, and cutting after I finished sewing.
